Throw compassion out the window
Competition's much too strong
There's no room for conscience
Or concern for right or wrong
Money talks, it doesn't whisper
So stand up tall and say it clear
Tell the family you've just shattered
It's good business not to care
Be articulate and clever
Never worry, no don't grieve
As you watch them fall to pieces
Pick the lint off of your sleeve
Make an apparition scapegoat
You can justify yourself
Step up higher on the ladder
You won't have to feel their hell
Have some wine and cheese this evening
Let the laughs and champagne pour
If their crying voices haunt you
Turn the music up some more
There's a man who gave his life here
But you need not feel in debt
After all you bought the bullets
For the gun against his head
Close the doors, bar the windows
Sign the papers, seal the deal
Send a full report to Wall Street
Jump for joy and click your heels
Take a moment out to savor
Ah, the sweet taste of success
The business world is green with
envy
But your hands are bloody red
